The Nurse Practitioners Association of Southwestern Pennsylvania (NPASP) is a dynamic, growing organization of nurse practitioners from across southwestern Pennsylvania. Our NPs practice in many clinical settings--including pediatrics, women's health, primary care, school health, geriatrics, emergency departments, research and more.
Dinner meetings are held throughout the year and include continuing education sessions with pharmacology credits. We also sponsor a one day annual workshop on topics of clinical importance requested by our membership.
The Nurse Practitioners Association of Southwestern Pennsylvania is a member of the Pennsylvania Coalition of Nurse Practitioners, an organization working to reduce the barriers to NP practice through legislative and governmental processes.
Students are encouraged to join the organization and are offered a discounted membership rate. Each May the organization recognizes two outstanding graduating students and honors them at the Annual Meeting.
